SMS consent information
Effective November 6, 2026
Glossy Finish texts tournament directors, event organizers, venue representatives, and business partners only after they agree to receive text messages. This page explains the three ways we ask for that agreement, and what we record. For the program terms, see the Partner SMS Terms.
Having your business phone number, working with you, or speaking with you on a voice call doesn't count as consent to text you. We text you only after you say yes.
1. Partner inquiry form
The partner inquiry form has an optional toggle for text messages. It is set to No by default, and you can submit the form without turning it on. It is separate from any partnership agreement or terms. The toggle reads:
I agree to receive text messages from Glossy Finish about tournament scheduling, photography coverage, event logistics, and partnership coordination at the mobile number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Consent is optional and not a condition of partnership. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.
The toggle sits directly below the form's Mobile Number field, so consent applies to the number you enter there:
Directly below the toggle, the form links to the Partner SMS Terms and the Partner Privacy Policy. If you leave the toggle set to No, we don't record SMS consent.
2. Verbal consent on a call or in a meeting
Our staff read this script and wait for you to say yes before they text you:
Glossy Finish would like to send you text messages about tournament planning, event schedules, photography coverage, and related coordination. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Consent is optional and not required to do business with us. Do you agree to receive these text messages from Glossy Finish at your mobile number?
3. Email consent
Our staff send this request and text you only after you reply YES:
Hi [Name], would it be okay for Glossy Finish to text you at [Phone Number] about tournament scheduling, event logistics, photography coverage, and related coordination?
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Consent is optional and not required to do business with us.
Please reply YES if you agree to receive these messages.

What we record
For each consent, we record your name, your mobile number, how you agreed (form, call, meeting, or email), when you agreed, the version of the wording you saw or heard, and who on our staff recorded it. We keep the form submission, the email thread, or notes from the call as evidence.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. We record the date of your opt-out and don't text you again unless you opt back in, as described in the Partner SMS Terms.
